Indicator Glossary

RSI (14)

Relative Strength Index over 14 periods. Measures momentum on a 0–100 scale; above 70 = overbought, below 30 = oversold.

MACD

Moving Average Convergence Divergence. Shows trend direction and momentum via two EMAs; bullish cross = buy signal, bearish cross = sell signal.

EMA 20

20-period Exponential Moving Average. Short-term trend line that reacts quickly to price changes.

EMA 50

50-period Exponential Moving Average. Medium-term trend line; price above = bullish bias, below = bearish.

SMA 200

200-period Simple Moving Average. Key long-term trend indicator; price above = uptrend, below = downtrend.

ATR (14)

Average True Range over 14 periods. Measures volatility in dollar terms; higher values = more volatile market.

Stochastic (K/D)

Stochastic Oscillator. Compares closing price to its range over a period; above 80 = overbought, below 20 = oversold.

VWAP

Volume-Weighted Average Price. Average price weighted by volume for the session; acts as dynamic support/resistance.
